Halesworth assault

Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault that took place in Halesworth.

It happened at about 9.30am on Friday 10 October on Bridge Street.

Following an incident of ‘road rage’ a male suspect punched the bonnet of the victim's vehicle and cycled away.

The victim, aged in his 60s and the suspect have then encountered each other again outside the library and the suspect punched the victim three times causing slight reddening as well as snapping off the key fob of the victim's vehicle out of the ignition and left the area with it.

The suspect is described by the victim as being a white male, aged in their early 50s with black hair, wearing a black jacket, black bottoms with a black helmet. A woman was with him with blonde hair, pink cycling shorts and a pink helmet.
